how do we book you?

how many weddings do you shoot each year?

I always have a phone or zoom consultation before booking with my wedding couples to get to know you and make sure we're a great fit. If I'm the one for you, I send over a contract, take a 30% retainer and then I'm yours!

I take on a very select number of wedding events per year by choice so I can give my couples the attention they deserve. I shoot anywhere from 5-8 of my own weddings per year and am often 2nd shooting throughout the year for other local photographers to keep my skills up and because I enjoy it.

Having a 2nd is always an option! Not all weddings need them. Some of my packages include a 2nd. They are always an option as an add on. We will  discuss if a 2nd shooter is a good option for your wedding before booking.

Yes! I shoot with two cameras at all times and have a third as a back up. I also have enough saved that if anything were to happen, I could replace my gear quickly.

I offer discounts for military families or for booking two or more sessions together at the same time. Please inquire for more information. My packages are priced according to my skill level and quality of work. I offer payment plans for all packages. Wedding packages can always be customized to fit your needs.

have you shot at our venue before?

Probably not. I just relocated to Alabama in 2023 so I'm new here. I have plenty of experience at many different kinds of wedding venues, whether outdoors or indoors with low-lighting, an open field or a Catholic church. I am comfortable shooting in all lighting situations.

It's never too early, in my opinion! I love being able to plan and often cannot accommodate last minute requests. For weddings, 12-8 months in advance is smart. For portraits, 1-3 months in advance is smart. 

For portraits, turn-around time is 2 weeks or less except for newborn sessions. Wedding galleries have a 6-8 week turnaround time. Galleries are sent via a personalized online gallery. You can view, download, and print photos directly from the gallery. 

we're super awkward. can you help us?

First of all, everyone says this and it's usually not true. And second of all, yes! I know it might feel a little awkward at first, but I will walk you through it and you'll do great! I've done this a thousand times and I've never had a client say they looked awkward in photos.

Our kids are crazy. HELP!

I get it! I have some crazy kids too. I always try to approach sessions with a fun vibe. Let's just have fun and let the kids be kids. If posing and "saying cheese" for the camera isn't happening, I'm not going to force that. Real, candid photos are so much more fun anyway! I promise if you just take second to breathe, I'll take care of the rest.

we only need a mini session. that cool?

It sure is! I offer mini sessions year round because as a mom of young kids, I know not everyone is into hour+ long portrait sessions. I offer mini sessions at select locations within 20 minutes of Maxwell AFB. Contact me for more details.

do you travel?

Yes! I'm always happy to come to wherever you're saying "I do" and have traveled for several of my wedding couples before. Contact me to discuss travel details.

I consider my images to be a good mix of documentary style and posed images, giving you real life moments and good "hang on the wall" classic portraits. My editing style is true-to-life colors, with an emphasis on clarity and vibrance.
