Evelyn Newborn Lifestyle Session | Charlottesville Newborn Photographer
This session is extremely special to me because it was for some of my first friends that I made when I moved to Charlottesville. I absolutely love getting to document people I actually know because the connection is already there and it's special to me to see people I care about in front of my camera.
Amy asked me the second she announced she was pregnant if I'd capture her new baby and I was of course extremely honored!
However, like many things this year, the world pandemic threw a wrench into our plans to capture both a Fresh 48 in the hospital and a newborn session. The Fresh 48 was of course not a go, but she did take her own photos and I was able to edit them for her at least. While we didn't get to do the newborn session as soon as little Evelyn was born, things were looking up when she was still little so we still got to capture her at six weeks old, which is still plenty "young" for a newborn in my opinion. Without further ado, enjoy this beautiful new family of four (five if you count Wally the dog) in their own little home.
Thankfully it was our original plan to do a newborn lifestyle session anyway, but in COVID times, I am seeing more people opt to do sessions out of their own home for safety right now. For more information on posed newborn versus newborn lifestyle sessions, see this blog post.
